My Trucks ("the app") is a vehicle and machinery maintenance tracker. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used.
If you create an account (email/password, Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple), we store the account identifier and email address via Firebase Authentication. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we only receive the private relay address Apple provides. All vehicle data you enter — vehicle details, service records, fuel logs, reminders, documents/photos you attach, and compliance dates — is stored in Firebase Cloud Firestore, associated only with your account.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your vehicle or maintenance data with third parties for advertising. We do not track your location.
Data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure (Google Cloud), encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Firestore security rules restrict every vehicle's data to its owner's account only — with one exception: vehicle sharing (below).
If you invite another My Trucks user to a vehicle by email, that person can see (and, if given edit access, change) that vehicle's records, services, fuel logs, reminders and documents — nothing else in your account. We resolve the invite by looking up the email you enter against other My Trucks accounts; if no matching account exists, no data is shared. You can revoke access at any time from the vehicle's share screen. Recipients on the free tier can hold access to at most 2 vehicles (owned or shared) at once.
If you use the app without an account, data is stored only on your device and never leaves it.
Subscription purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, and subscription status is managed via RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your payment card details — Apple and Google handle billing directly. RevenueCat may process a device/account identifier and purchase status to keep your subscription active across devices.
Maintenance reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No reminder content is sent to any server to generate notifications.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app, or by contacting us at the email below.
